Nice spot! We stayed here for the 2018 Shitbox Rally and the staff were amazing
We were fortunate to spend a few days here in early January. Staff were fantastic and at times we felt like the place was there just for us.Huge swimming pool, complimentary wi-fi with reasonably good speeds, old school buffet breakfasts, and can't review this place without mentioning the warm cookies that were handed out on arrival.All added up to a great stay and at a value price point.Met or exceeded our expectations in every way.
Comfy beds, friendly staff, nice pool. Would give this more stars except I ordered the beef burger for lunch and it was gross. Meat was gritty, bun was cheap and stale it also had beetroot, bacon, egg and bluecheese so weird ingredients. But burger aside the hotel was great.
I visited Dermal Essence in the breezeway at the entrance of the hotel for an IPL treatment. Melissa was wonderful, as always. Can't speak for the owner, but Melissa provides excellent service and quality treatment. I would visit again if she was performing my treatment.
This hotel is different from the Double Tree Darwin which is next door. I havent stayed next door but this one is reasonable: Setup is just as expected. No surprises. The exterior of the building looks dated but the interior appear to be refurbished. Wifi is fast. Plenty of good restaurants around.
