Bit noisy..but nice meals in the heart of darwin
Good location- right across the road from supermart. Rooms rather basic, and bathroom also but fair for an inn. WiFi only at lobby and only free for 15 mins or so..
We made a mistake booking the room on the wrong date. We didnt ask for a refund we just wanted to move our booking forwards one day. They had plenty of space but refused to let us stay without paying for another night. They claimed that it wasnt their policy, but the website I booked throughs policy. In the end, we decided to stay else where instead of paying them more money. Very unfair
Good buffet breakfast available, bar, gym and swimming pool. Helpful staff.
I've never written a google review before, but I felt it was necessary as I was so pleased with my experience at Travelodge. The hotel itself was fantastic, with a lovely restaurant, pool area, a little gym, and very clean rooms. The staff was what really made my experience so great. They are all EXTREMELY friendly, helpful, and understanding. When I returned home to the U.S.A, I realized I left my favorite jacket there. The managers at the Travelodge were more than happy to work with me and ship it to me. They have went out of their way to ensure my happiness, even though I'm not even in the same country anymore! If you are looking for a place to stay in Darwin, stay at the Travelodge!
