I have a theory, the high the price for a regular coffee the quality diminishes accordingly. Cafe 21 affirms my theory
I paid nearly $30 for a hashbrown, a coffee and 24 hours of being sick!Absolutely disgusting customer service.They do not take dietary requirements or allergies seriously at all!I ordered the vegan breakfast and asked if the hash browns were also vegan, I was told very confidently that of course they were. When my food came out I ate one of them and it clearly wasn't, I checked with a staff member who said it contained both egg and cheese. She asked who told me that and I pointed to the lady and she walked off on me and I didn't even see her speak to her.I ended up walking back to my table because I was left standing there like a fool. No one came to offer to remake my food or offer a refund or anything. As I left with a plate still full of food someone cleared the table instantly in front of me and did not even bother to enquire why I didn't eat at all.
had bacon and eggs on toast for breakfast every weekend for a year - only CLEAN, consistently, reliable, open breakfast venue in Darwin !
Was disappointed. Coffee was Luke warm, like the service. I also had a bacon and egg roll that was so hot for microwave that it burnt my mouth, luckily the flat white was cold another to ease the pain of the burn. The place looks OK but that it. Needs more competition.
Had late breakfast here just now. Hubby and I both had Eggs Benedict and large coffees. Food was served promptly... and was quite nice. The only thing that stood out was the service.... the guy who brought out coffee didn't even look at us... didn't speak... but if that doesn't bother you... place will be fine... but if you like some personality with your meal.... sorry this place fails ...
