It was a very rewarding experience.. They have a very well planned layout, the exhibits are all very interesting. The staff are very helpful.. we'll worth seeing.
We had a great time here! It was a lot of fun. We went as a group of two families and we really enjoyed ourselves. It was such a big place! The hurricane exhibit is done beautifully.
Well worth the visit in Darwin. The spider exhibition was great and worth the money. The cyclone Tracy room is fantastic and eye opening. Don't forget to check out the turtles through the door to the left before you enter the museum
A great place to experience NT history and traditions. The layout is great with awesome facilities and the murals and Aboriginal art is just awesome.A must visit if you are visiting Darwin. Small kids will find this place fascinating and best of all this place has free entry.
Always Love the Museum, they offer a variety of different viewing pleasures. Ranging from, Animal, Historic, Boats (though it is very hot in there so be prepared ) all kinds of beautiful art. The gift shop is a little pricey, but has some pretty cool stuff in there and the staff are always so lovely Haven't been to the little food place in there yet. To get into the museum itself is free, you can't take backpacks in anymore they have lockers to out them in which requires a $2 coin you get back when you leave. I have always loved this museum. There's a cyclone Tracy part of the museum which tells you about the events of that tragic day... Which I've always been fascinated by. Sweetheart is still there which was good to know. It's got some nice views from sections too! All in all a great place to take the kids because it's FREE & educational
